How We Work

Mission Statement

The primary goal of STORYinSONGtm is to provide music with a positive message for the Country, Gospel, Blue Grass, and crossover listener. We will do this by marketing to music industry executives. STORYinSONGtm will invite like-minded songwriters to collaborate with us to tastefully expand our catalog.

Vision Statement

STORYinSONGtm envisions having 5 or more songs recorded by major artists and on Billboard® charts within the first five years of operation. We fully expect to be Grammy® recipients not later than the tenth year of business. A primary objective of STORYinSONGtm is to have our music aired regularly nationwide, and to become known as standards in the songwriting industry.

Core Values

A solid value system is at the very heart of the music that STORYinSONGtm writes. God, country, family, friends, a good work ethic, a good belly laugh, and a good cry all blend into the lyrics and melodies of the music with meaning that STORYinSONGtm writes. Music that restores a broken sprit, nudges a wayward life back on track, and celebrates our triumphs and tragedies, – one listener at a time.

Collaboration

Everyone has good ideas from time to time. Sometimes we catch only a fleeting glimpse, and other times they strike like a lightning bolt. What Dan and Al have come to realize since thier first collaboration in 1984, is that good ideas become great and rewarding achievements with teamwork and passion.

One of the best examples in history comes from two brothers who owned a bicycle shop; but believed they could actually build a machine that would make it possible for man to achieve sustained mechanical flight – teamwork and passion proved them right. If you would like to work together on a song project that fits the profile of STORYinSONGtm core values, please Contact Us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
