Father’s Fields

Father’s Fields” is a country song that evokes the struggles and heartbreak of the present generation breaking away from the family traditions and hardships of farm life.

The original idea is Dan’s, from memories of his own childhood growing up in what was then a rural part of New Jersey, the “Garden State”. This song is one of Dan’s personal favorites.

The original lyrics and music were written around 1995 by Al Curving and Dan Laurie, registered with the U.S. Copyright Office in 1998 as part of the album “Slices of Life in Story ‘N Song – Vol. 3” and revised in 2009 to this version.

We are song writers, and not entertainers. We hope you enjoyed this demo; but we are really looking for someone who has what it takes to make this song a hit. If you would like information about recording this, or any of their other songs please contact us.
